Moving right along, with only two "hang
ups" ‑ the final DBE (disadvantaged business enterprise)
participation report by MHD, who appears to be having a difficult time in
creating, and the asphalt correction. This correction is still in limbo and if
it is not completed by the end of May, the commission will take the $6,800
being held and hire another firm to correct it.
MOTION: TO PAY $7,321.90 TO MHD IN FULL FOR
EVERYTHING
LESS THE $6,900 FOR THE ASPHALT CORRECTION AND
THE $1,200 FOR
LIQUIDATED DAMAGES.
MOVED: RICHARD
SILVA
SECONDED: STEVE PAGE
VOTE: 3 YES 0 NO 0 ABSTAIN
Butch will cut the check and hold it until the DBr.~‑'.
report is completed by MHD and all parties are satisfied.
III. TERMINAL HVAC UPDATE
Nothing new ‑ Peter Gray‑Mullen made a
call today with no response from Architectural Engineers. Pressure being
applied from all factions ‑ TRA/E&K/Butch, etc. Better Comfort System
ready to do work ‑ waiting for plan and permission from Architectural
Engineers to do the work.
