PROVINCETOWN AIRPORT COMMISSION

MINUTES OF THE MEETING

WEDNESDAY, 1 JUNE 2005

 

The Provincetown Airport Commission met at the Provincetown Municipal Airport for the purpose of its stated meeting on Wednesday, 1 June 2005.  Those in attendance were:

            The meeting was called to order at 5:31 P.M. by Chairman Silva.

 

I.  LOGAN AIRPORT PEAK PERIOD PRICING UPDATE

            There is no change.  We are still waiting for template for exemption.  Town Manager Bergman checking periodically.

 

II.  MASTER PLAN UPDATE

            Currently working on data collection such as rare species as well as adjustments such as parking.  The first Advisory Group meeting will be held on 14 June and will include representatives from the FAA, MAC, DEP, CCC, and the Airport Commission.  It is also hoped that other towns will also participate.

 

III.  PAYMENT VOUCHERS

1.  Edwards & Kelcey -Inv. 8                                      $29,000.00

            Alberts moved, Tait seconded, and commission approved.

2.  MHQ - new Expedition                                                       $33,663.00

            Page moved, Alberts seconded, and commission approved.

3.  Open Sesame - repair access gate corrosion            $989.00

            Tait moved, Page seconded, and commission approved.

 

IV.  OTHER BUSINESS

            Cape Air Manager Joady Brown requested that a bike rack be provided.  It was suggested to check with the Town garage to see if we could acquire one from them.  Lisenby was asked if he was aware that the bus map shows that there is paid parking available at the airport.  He said no, and there was probably little to be done as the maps were already in print.

V.  MINUTES

            The minutes of the meeting of 4 May 2005 were presented, moved to accept by S. Tait, seconded by S. Page and unanimously approved.

 

The next regular stated meeting will be 6 July 2005.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 5:40 P.M.
