Any registered voter in the Town of Provincetown is eligible to serve on a Town Board. See the list of current board vacancies, updated monthly, to determine which board best matches your interest and abilities, download and complete a Town Board Application Form, and return your completed application to the Town Clerk's Office. Please contact the Town Clerk for more information or to discuss which board may be the best fit for you.

Town Board Handbook
The Town Clerk's office publishes a Handbook For Members of Town Boards, to assist the members of appointed boards, committees, and commissions to easily understand the variety of laws, procedures and traditions in participating in municipal government. This handbook blends the directions and requirements that are found in state and local laws, town charter and administrative directives.
