Online Databases
The Provincetown Public Library online is your gateway to databases containing thousands of popular magazines, scholarly journals, newspapers, newswires, business directories, investment reports, biographies and genealogy sources, health information, maps, literature reviews and assistance on what to read next or instruction on language learning.
Here is a broad subject breakdown of the databases, but feel free to call 508.487.7094 to consult with a librarian if you have questions about which databases to use.

The majority of these databases are funded by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, while CLAMS or the Provincetown Public library supplies others. Depending on which database you want to access you will need a valid CLAMS Library card, Provincetown Library CLAMS card or a Massachusetts Library card. Access information is clearly explained at each database.
