Lower Cape Community Development Partnership:
Lower Cape Community Development Partnership [CDP], formerly known as the Lower Cape Cod Community Development Corporation, is a community based non-profit organization created in 1992 by community leaders and activists who believed the eight towns of the Lower Cape needed an organization focused on affordable housing and economic development issues unique to the area. The CDP manages numerous Lower Cape developments and ownership opportunities and provides other resources with regard to housing including Homebuyer Education classes. 
This 3-day course is designed to help first time home buyers make informed decisions along the path to homeownership. The course is certified through the Massachusetts Homeownership Collaborative and fulfills the prerequisite for a ONE mortgage. The workshop covers: credit health and budgeting; mortgage process and options; finding the right home and making an offer; appraisals; home inspection; legal procedures and protections; insurance protection; home energy audits and savings; ongoing homeownership.

Stable Path Affordable Rental Homes
23 new rental units are complete at Stable Path, Provincetown. there are efficiency units, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, & 3-bedroom units at a variety of income levels and include some ADA compliant units. Applications are being accepted for 2 & 3 bedroom units. Province Landing, 90 Shank Painter Road!
Construction is 100% complete with all 50 units occupied.  A Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony was held on October 3rd.   Province Landing has a blog with construction photos, apartment lay-outs, etc. . Of the 50 units: 44 units are households from Provincetown; 1 each from Wellfleet, Orleans, Yarmouth; 2 from Truro; and 1 from San Diego [former PTown resident]. That is about as local as you can get! There are some amazing stories behind these rentals.  Eligibility income limits and asset guidelines apply based on Barnstable County median income as defined by HUD and vary depending upon the unit and household size. HAC Financial Management Workshop
A new Financial Management Workshop is available to people who have experienced foreclosure or who are in the process of modification of their mortgage. Housing Assistance
The Community Housing Council has approved a request for $20,000 from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund to fund an emergency housing assistance program in Provincetown. The funds are administered for Provincetown residents under a grant agreement with the Homeless Prevention Council and provide emergency housing counseling and assistance to prevent homelessness.

Homeless Prevention Council

The Homeless Prevention Council works to prevent homelessness before it happens in the eight towns of the Lower and Outer Cape (Chatham, Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro, and Provincetown). They provide professional case management, which includes counseling, advocacy and referral services to appropriate resources.

Lower Cape Outreach Council:
The mission of the Lower Cape Outreach Council is to provide emergency assistance of food clothing and financial support to individuals and families in Brewster, Chatham, Eastham, Harwich, Orleans, Provincetown, Truro and Wellfleet which will lead to healthy, productive and self-sustaining lives as part of the Cape Cod community. Housing Assistance Corporation of Cape Cod Housing Assistance Corporation delivers housing and employment services that help Cape and islands residents secure homes that are safe, stable and healthy.
