Overhanging Tree Limbs, Bushes, and Hedges
Effective immediately, the Highway Department will be patrolling Town roadways looking for overhanging tree limbs and intrusion of bushes and hedges into or over public ways that can interfere with public safety, parking, or traffic flow. DPW employees will be looking for tree limbs hanging lower than ten feet that could damage larger vehicles such as, DPW Trucks, Fire Trucks, and Ambulances. They will also be looking for bushes and hedges that protrude into the roadway, which could potentially cause traffic or pedestrian accidents.
