The Provincetown Licensing Board forwards its mission to assist local businesses, while at the same time assuring they abided by the applicable rules and regulations, which leads to a peaceful and prosperous community. 


Rental Certificates:

The Provincetown Board of Health has adopted new public health and safety regulations pertaining to the renting of property for habitation. This new regulation applies to all forms of rental property including weekly, seasonal, and year round. If you are renting property, you are required to obtain the Renter’s Certificate and receive an inspection every 3 years. Applications are available here or may be picked up in the Licensing Development at Town Hall.
