Mr. Dana Berry retains his seat on the school committee. Today's recall did not succeed and therefore made moot the need to count the election portion of the ballot.

Charter 10-1-11  A majority vote of the voters shall be required to recall such elective officer but shall not be effective unless a total of at least twenty-five percent of the electors entitled to vote on the question shall have voted for recall.

The Charter further provides that  if the recall does not succeed then the ballots for candidates need not be counted.
