Surplus Fire Department vehicle for sale

The Town of Provincetown is requesting bids on the sale of a surplus Fire Department vehicle, a 1975 Oshkosh ARFF Airport Crash Truck. This vehicle has a bad engine and does not run. The minimum bid is $2,000. Any bids below that amount will not be accepted.

General Bid forms and specifications may be obtained from Fire Department Headquarters, 25 Shank Painter Road, Provincetown, MA 02657, (508) 487-7023). Completed General Bid Forms should be sealed and clearly marked, and must be returned to the Town Manager’s Office, 260 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA 02657, by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2010 for consideration.

The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities, and to award the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
