Proposed Relocation of Rental Mooring Field in Provincetown Harbor: Flyers Boat Club, Inc.

The Provincetown Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 10, 2005 at 6 p.m. in the Judge Welsh Hearing Room, Provincetown Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street, on the application of Flyers Boat Club, Inc., P.O. Box 262, South Orleans, Massachusetts 02662 for a proposed relocation of a rental mooring field in Provincetown Harbor. Flyers Boat Club has requested an Army Corps of Engineers Permit (File No. NAE 2004-1602) under Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbor Act of 1899 to relocate their existing field to another location within Provincetown Harbor. The work is described on plans entitled “MOORING FIELD SITE PLAN” on 3 sheets and dated April 23, 2004, a copy of which plans are on file in the Officer of the Office of the Town Manager/ Board of Selectmen, Town Hall, Provincetown MA 02657. The plans are also available on-line at www.provincetown-ma.gov/harbor/ACOE_Flyers.pdf.  The public is encouraged to submit written comments to the Office of the Town Manager/Board of Selectmen or in person at the hearing.
