Ø     Total Population: increased by 25 people 1980 to 1990, then decreased by 130 people 1990 to 2000.

 

Ø     Children under the age of 5: decreased significantly, 1980 – 151 (4.27% of population), 1990 – 134 (3.8%), 2000 – 60 (1.7%).

 

Ø     Median Age: increased from 35.9 years (1980), 41.1 (1990), to 45.4 (2000).

 

Ø     Seniors: percentage of those 55+  stable.

 

Ø     Minorities: increased 1980 – 92 (2.6%), 1990 – 126 (3.5%), 2000 – 427 (12.4%).

 

Ø     Number of Households: decreased by 104 (1990 to 2000), following increase of 178 (1980 to 1990).

 

Ø     HUD Low/Mod Population: increased from 56% in 1980 to 61.8% in 1990 and returned to 55.1% in 2000.

 

Ø     Poverty: number of families below poverty level has declined; number of individuals has remained stable.

 

Ø     Yearround housing units: [total housing units – seasonal housing units] decreased by 324 from 1990 [2,386] to 2000 [2,062].
