The Town Manager and Board of Selectmen invite and encourage
the participation of Provincetown based Contractors and residents in
the Phase II: Comprehensive Restoration and Renovation of the Provincetown
Town Hall. Plans and specifications will be available for viewing at
the Community Development Office at the temporary town hall for use
in the building and electronically for distribution at Projectdog, 18
Graf Road, Suite #8, Newburyport, MA 01950, Tel: (978) 499-9014, Fax:
978-499-9016. Registration and receipt of electronic documents through
Projectdog is free. The project follows the Commonwealth of Massachusetts public
procurement statutes. Not all sub-contractors need to be DCAM (Dept.
of Capital Asset Management) certified. There are many opportunities
for local subcontractors and construction material suppliers. A list
of registered plan holders will be available at the Town Hall and at
the Projectdog website: www.Projectdog.com for registered users.
Interested local contractors may post their contact information on the
Town of Provincetown website: www.provincetown-ma.gov/THRebuild/interest_form.html. Subcontractors for the following specialties are needed: Selective
Demolition, Site Preparation, Earthwork, Paving & Curbing, Fencing
& Gates, Lawns, Cast-in-Place Concrete, Structural Steel, Rough
Carpentry, Finish Carpentry, Building Insulation, Fire Stopping, Doors/Frames
& Hardware, Gypsum Wallboard & Veneer Plaster, Tile, Refinishing
of Existing Wood Floor, Resilient Flooring, Carpet, Toilet Partitions,
Toilet Accessories and Sprinklers. Subcontractors may post their contact information and specialty
on the Town website and/or directly contact registered DCAM-Certified
Historic General Contractors who are plan holders. Lodging facilities
may also post their interest in providing contractor lodging on this
website. The following subcontracts require DCAM certification: Lathing
& Plastering, Painting, Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical Work. |
