[ARCHIVED] Phase 4 Sewer and Paving Project Update

The Town Wide Paving Project will start work next week weather permitting. Starting Monday 10/20/14 thru Wednesday 10/22/14 crews will be prepping and paving West Vine St from Commercial St to Bradford St, Tremont St from Commercial St to West Vine St, and Mechanic St from Tremont St to Bradford St. If you don't want to be blocked in for the day you should move your cars before 7am each day before work starts. You can also expect detours and delays in areas of paving.

Looking ahead the Town Wide Paving Project will be paving Shank Painter Rd and Gosnold St the week of October 31st.

Phase 4 Sewer paving will be complete today. On Sunday 10/19/14 and Monday 10/20/14 from 9pm to 7am, Province Lands Rd, Bradford St Ext and Bradford St will be getting lines painted. This work is in the middle of the night so traffic detours and delays should not be a problem but there will be no parking starting
Sunday the 19th at 7pm and will continue strait thru until Tuesday the 21st at 7am. Please seek alternate parking for this couple of days.

On Saturday 10/18/14 and Sunday 10/19/14 Route 6 will be having its lines repainted. This work will be from 7am until 5pm on both days. Route 6 will remain open but you can expect detours and delays in the areas they are painting.

We realize that the next week or so is going to be very very busy so please have patience and thank you in advance for your cooperation.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Sherry Prada, Operations Director at the Department of Public Works at 487-7060 or Please visit the Towns web site for a more detailed work schedule and for current updates.
