The town is requesting community input on its proposed plan to design the current parcel of land located at 387-395A Commercial Street, also known as the East End Waterfront Park from herein. The East End Waterfront Park project aims to provide safe, welcoming and environmentally friendly access for both passive and active recreational activities, while addressing the environmental and public health concerns. The East End Waterfront Park’s draft master plan will guide the development and management of the future park.

The Town has hired the consulting firm Weston & Sampson to help facilitate the community planning process, and provide the town with conceptual plans derived from community input. The kickoff event will be the First Community Meeting, on site at the park, June 24th,2021, with an Open House from 3-5pm, followed by a community discussion from 6-8pm. June 24th will be a chance for all to tour the site and provide input both in person, and virtually via Microsoft Teams.

Throughout this process, all interested can visit the East End Waterfront Website:, which will provide the most up to date planning information, surveys, and the opportunity to sign-up  to be notified about future planning events and information.
